Olympic Torch Arrived In Xiamen, Fujian, China

The Olympic Torch Relay,which stands for PEACE, FRIENDSHIP AND HOPE, arrived in Xiamen May 12 th, 2008. A passionate welcome ceremony was held in Xiamen International Exhibit Centre in the night. Up to the present, it is the first time for the Olympic Torch ighited in the beautiful Aigret Island.

The Olympic Torch will be relayed through 17.4 kilometres in Xiamen City this time. Its topic is THE TRAVEL OF HARMONIOUS. It started from CENTRE OF INTERNATIONAL EXHIBIT and finished in CENTRE OF XIAMEN SPORTS.
